A flexible, absorbent and eye-catching cloth that is fun and relaxing to make. It makes a great mat too or coaster in finer yarn. 

 

Following the popularity of the Vivid Picnic and Winter Collections, the Vivid Washcloth continues the colourful fun featuring the alternating colours V-stitch pattern. 

 

Work it up in a couple of bold contrast colours for a fun look or try a pair of similar shades for a subtle variegation It’s a perfect scrap yarn stash busting project or you can select shades that will add a seasonal touch to your décor or reflect the favourite shades of a gift recipient. 

 

Sizes: One size with adjustment tips at end.

 

Tension: 6 htrV-sts x 6  rows = 10cm x 10cm / 4” x 4” measured over main patt rep

 

Working method: worked centre out in concentric rounds.

a. Width: 15cm / 6”

 

Requirements
Yarnsmiths Cotton Aran; Aran/worsted weight: 80m (88 yd) per 50g skein; 100% cotton or similar (Sample worked in C1 Pale Lilac 4340 and C2 Aqua 4224)
C1: 25 m / 28 yd
C2: 20 m / 22 yd
4.5mm / US G+/7 crochet hook
Yarn needle and scissors
8 locking stich markers (optionally two different to the others to mark start of round in each shade)
