Updated: Dec 5, 2022
I haven't discounted any of my patterns for Black Friday, so if you are a keen bargain hunter with an eye on one of my patterns, you can focus on your gift shopping today and look back over the next week or so to get any pattern you want with a big discount.
Each of my paid patterns will be discounted by 50% for one day (midnight to midnight GMT) between 26th November and 3rd December in my Ravelry Store. I'll list the discounted pattern with the code on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and this blog post nightly but if you subscribe to my mailing list you get the full list of times and codes in advance to plan which patterns you want to buy. I have some great patterns for making quick Christmas gifts, like bags and planter covers. Which will you choose?
The day's discount
The discount for 3rd December is on the Amelina Small Project Bag. Get 50% off until midnight GMT (UK time) on 2nd December with the code LINEN from my Ravelry store.
Inspired by the shape of vintage knitting bags and resized for projects without long needles, the bag should fit 150g yarn in project/ball form, an average sized crochet hook, circular needles or small/average DPNs plus your notions. It fastens with a slight overlap and the flowers have loops to secure it if needed. I've already used mine a lot and it's a really handy size. It can also be used as a tiny handbag. It fits my large phone exactly on the base and the handles are comfortable to hold! Do you love the micro-bag trend or prefer something more capacious?
I loved the relaxed feel of working the linen stitch; the body is an ideal TV/craft group make with minimal concentration required. The ends, handles, flowers and assembly are the more interesting parts so need a little more concentration and being small they're ideal for car/train/waiting for children to finish an activity crafting opportunities. I love projects with a good mix of interesting and relaxing work and small pieces I can make on the go.
The written pattern is available in English in both UK and US crochet terms and has diagrams and photos to help with assembly.
The pictureshows the beautiful versions the testers made.
