Join Our November Make-Along for Festive Knitted and Crocheted Christmas Decorations

Festive Christmas decor collage: crochet ornaments, stockings on a mantel, poinsettia, candy cane strings, and garlands on stairs.

As the leaves turn and the air gets crisp, it’s time to welcome the festive spirit! This November, I'm inviting you to join our Christmas Decorations make-along. Let's craft beautiful Christmas decorations together using any of my patterns and get ready to deck the halls with our handmade creativity!

What’s in Store for You?

Christmas stockings with letters G, C, A hang on a decorated mantle. A toy train, candles, and garland adorn it. A lit tree is nearby.

In addition to the fun and motivation of crafting with others, here’s what you can look forward to:

  1. A Free Pattern: On November 11th, all newsletter subscribers will receive an access code for an exclusive free pattern. This is a wonderful way to kick off your holiday crafting adventure! Have you signed up yet? It's not too late. Here's the sign-up page. You'll get a link confirmation email that allows you to see the most recent newsletter, so if you're signing up after the newsletter goes out on November 11th, just click through on that to get the code.

  2. 25% Off All my Christmas Decoration Patterns: Enjoy a 25% discount on all Christmas decoration patterns and e-books available in my Ravelry and Etsy shops. It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on festive designs!

  3. Prize Draw for an eBook: Share your finished objects (FOs) of Christmas decorations made from my patterns on social media or add a photo to your project on Ravelry to earn an entry into the prize draw for one of my eBooks. The more you share, the better your chances of winning. You can choose from a Ravelry voucher to pick from any pattern eBook I sell there, a copy of my successful handmade guide or request (email me) a copy of any of my eBooks in my Etsy store. If you don't fancy any of the eBooks, choose any pattern instead!

Featured Patterns in our Make-Along for Festive Knitted and Crocheted Christmas Decorations

Two colorful crocheted bauble ornaments with pink and blue loops, adorned with ribbons, rest on a white background. Vibrant and festive.

I have a delightful selection of Christmas decoration patterns that you can choose from. Here are a few highlights:

  • Charmed Garland (Crochet): This charming garland is perfect for adding a whimsical touch to your holiday decor. It’s about 5 feet long with a sweet gingerbread family as the focus and can feature multiple colours for a vibrant look. Additionally all nine charms the garland includes are available as individual patterns that make cute tree decorations for those who don't want to make the whole thing. Get it on Ravelry or on Etsy

  • Charmed Garland (Knit): Prefer knitting? This version of the garland offers the same festive appeal while showcasing your knitting skills. Get it on Ravelry or on Etsy

  • Fragrant Fir Tree Sachets: These knitted sachets not only look cute but also fill your home with the delightful scent of the filling. Fill them with dried lavender or pine needles for a cosy touch. Get it on Ravelry or on Etsy

  • Vivid Bauble Tree Ornament: These vibrant crocheted ornaments are a beautiful addition to any tree, with each bauble featuring a bold ribbon bow interwoven with the stitches. Get it on Ravelry or as part of the Vivid Winter Collection on Etsy

Additionally, you can use any of my other patterns to create whatever you consider to be festive decorations for this time of year, so don't feel left out if you don't celebrate Christmas or if you don't like traditional style decorations; I'd love to hear about how you're decorating for your Winter celebrations.

For example, if you take a look at my blog, you'll see lots of other options. The Last Minute Crochet Flower Garland is a really quick, FREE stash-buster and can feature your favourite festive colours. You could work up the charm from the Day at the Beach Bag as a stunning mini Christmas wreath using green and red yarn. The Firework Crochet Pendant, Cloth, or Coaster is another FREE pattern that is perfect for those who love New Year firework displays and Tunisian crocheters might like to follow the FREE Mermaid Bow Band pattern to complement their festive decorations or embellish their gift-wrapping. A lot of my patterns are really flexible so the possibilities are truly endless!
