Knitting or Crocheting through the Summer? Join Around the World Stitchalong 2025 on Ravelry!

Are you joining the Around the World Stitchalong in 2025? It's a wonderful event for crafters knitting or crocheting through the summer season, whether you're seeking out a friendly craft community or great patterns by independent designers, you're sure to enjoy it. I'll be a participating designer this year, so ten of my independently published patterns are included amongst those eligible for the coupon code and all of my patterns including those you see free on this website are eligible to be worked on in the CAL/KAL. Only your finished items from patterns that are available for purchase (not free) count towards the prizes though.

What's the Around the World Stitchalong 2025?

The Around the World Stitchalong is a KAL/CAL event, taking place in a group on Ravelry, focused on making items from patterns designed by independent designers. It lasts around six weeks, running from 11th July to the end of 22nd August and includes fun quizzes, competitions, and plenty of crafty and off-topic chatter in a fun atmosphere. You can find out more about the event in this group on Ravelry.

First buy eligible Stitchalong patterns from participating designers and don't forget to use the coupon code found in the group for 25% off each one in the designers' bundles of up to 10 patterns during the sale that takes place until 15th July! You'll probably want to use the filters to find just the right patterns for you from the many available. After the 15th July, you can still get the designers' patterns that you want to make but the coupon code will no longer be valid.

Then back in the Stitchalong group join the discussion to let us know about the items you are making. After it's complete, post a photo in the FO (Finished Object) thread . Those who do are eligible (if making an item using a paid pattern by any of the participating designers) to win one of many lovely prizes .
